Von Bargen, Williams Lead The Way For Tenino Cross Country

Two freshmen led the way for the Beavers in an Evergreen meet Thursday, with the boys’ Tristan Von Bargen capturing ninth place with a time of 21:04, and the girls’ Brynn Williams running a 27:06 for seventh. 

With just two girls runners, senior Claire Scibelli finished right behind Williams for eighth with a time of 28:49. 

For the boys, senior Braxton Williams ran a 21:09 for tenth, making Von Bargen and Williams the only Beaver top-10 finishers. 



The Beavers second pack, which finished 13th-18th, were Blaine Schott (21:52), Damon Anderson (21:53), Cash Gallaher (21:54), Jayden Merritt (21:57), Tanis Von Bargen (22:12), and Larry Whitney (22:28). 

Eatonville’s Joey Mueller took home first place for the boys with a time of 19:33, and Montesano’s Aubrey Anderson ran a 24:13 for first on the girls side.
