Warriors Clobber Wildcats on the Road

Picking up its second straight win, the Rochester softball team put nine runs on Aberdeen in the fourth inning and ran away with a 15-6 win on the road Friday afternoon.

The Warriors got a strong performance on the mound from Layna Demers, who pitched all seven innings and struck out seven batters with just four earned runs, and got more than enough run support to earn the victory. Macey Fluetsch went 2 for 4 with three RBIs and three runs to lead the way at the plate.

Mckenna Vassar also added three runs batted in.

The Warriors will take on Tenino in their next outing on Monday.
