Warriors Drop Non-League Contest to Cruisers

Battling some illness and injury, the Rochester girls basketball team fell to Eatonville at home in a non-league matchup, 39-31, Monday night.

“I was really proud of the crew and how we had played tonight,” Rochester coach Davina Serdahl said. “They did not back down at all. They worked really hard. We get some of our shots to fall that we normally make and it is a different ball game.”

The Warriors had a tough night shooting, but Roisin Stull had a massive, 15-point, 12-rebound double-double to lead the way. Bailey Anderson led the Cruisers with a game-high 20 points.

“Roisin Stull had a great game working the inside with a double-double,” Serdahl said. “She played against a taller Eatonville squad and did not back down.”

The Warriors will take on Black Hills on the road Wednesday in a return to league play.
