The Rochester softball team dropped its second straight game on Saturday, as the Warriors fell to Montesano 7-3.

The Warriors (6-7, 3-3 2A EvCo) took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first thanks to a sacrifice fly from Macey Fluetsch and an RBI single from Arissa LeBaron. The Bulldogs tied the game in the bottom half, however, and they took the lead with three runs in the third.

After the first inning, the Warriors struggled to string together baserunners, and they only scored one more run on a groundout in the sixth.

Sara Haury went 2 for 4 with a pair of doubles, and Layna Demers struck out six in five innings in the circle.

Rochester will return to league play on Wednesday at Aberdeen.
