Washington State Department of Transportation Seeks Public Input on Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Plans

Posted

The Washington state Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking public input regarding the development of an electric vehicle infrastructure plan. The plan will be completed by Aug. 1 to qualify for $71 million in federal funds.

“The main purpose of the plan is to build out alternative fuel corridors in a way that links electric vehicle fast charging stations every 50 miles on major highways and within one mile of exit ramps,” the WSDOT said in its announcement.

Suggestions can be made on the WSDOT website.

To meet the Aug. 1 deadline, the WSDOT asks that all comments and questions be submitted by email to partnerships@wsdot.wa.gov by July 15.
