After several rainouts, the W.F. West girls tennis team returned to the court in style with a 6-0 sweep of Shelton Friday afternoon. 

First singles: Mari Ceesay (WFW) def. Hannah Pratt (SHE) 6-4, 6-0

Second singles: Viviana Ibanez (WFW) def. Nevaeh Haskins (SHE) 6-3, 6-0

Third singles: Emma Hamilton (WFW) def. Evelyn Allen (SHE) 6-1, 6-0

First doubles: Kaitlyn Wood/Laura Yip (WFW) def. Fiona Dowling/Adalyn Kapa (SHE) 6-0, 6-1

Second doubles: Lillian Hueffed/Emma Weerasinghe (WFW) def. Josefina Francisco/Amylia Nelson (SHE) 6-0, 6-0

Third doubles: Jamie Bradley/Aubrey Prigmore (WFW) def. Teagan Orme/Karen Rivas-Baires (SHE) 6-4, 6-0

The Bearcats’ JV team also won decisively for the program sweep, 3-0.
