The W.F. West boys wrestling team had four winners at the Pat Alexander Invite in Tumwater on Saturday, and the Bearcats finished second out of 18 teams.
Ryker Jensen (1060), Liam Land (144), Kage Homan (175), and Tucker Land (190) were all victorious in their respective brackets, while Jayce Ayers (106), Lewis Allen (138), Race Scalici (150), Andrew Snyder (165), and Lakin Baker (215) all finished second.
Graysen Serl (165) was W.F. West’s only third-place finisher, and Beau Guyette (157) was the Bearcats’ lone fourth-place finisher.
Tumwater had success in its home gym, finishing one spot back of W.F. West in the team standings.
Mehki Richardson came out on top at 157, while Antonio Hernandez (106), Alejandro Concepcion (132), Brian Fowler (138), and Cash Short (190) all finished third.
Diego Conception (113), Collin McPherson (126), and Luke D’Entremont (175) all finished fourth.
Among other local placers was Onalaska’s Benito Escalera, who won at 120, and Napavine’s Peyton Hernandez, who won at 132,
Rochester’s Bear Dixon took second at 113, while Onalaska’s Kyle Brockway finished third at 215.
Adna’s Cash Laufenberg (120), Centralia’s Dobah Denetclaw (144), Rochester’s Chris Tartios (190), and Rochester’s Lucas McIntire (285) each finished fourth in their classes.
