Will's last words to his wife were always their parting words and the words that defined his life, “I love you”. He passed away unexpectedly Jan. 7, 2020, leaving an immeasurable hole for all who knew him. Will was born in 1980, to David and Margie Hayes.

He was the older brother to Rachel Hayes and younger brother to Joshua Hayes (wife, Mariana and daughter, Yarena). Will’s mother said he was a joy to raise, entertaining, mischievous and an instigator. His father preceded him in death.

In 2007, Will married the love of his life, Mollie Robinson. Together, they cherished and adored their two daughters, Ella and Davey Hayes. Will is also survived by a tight-knit group of friends and friends he has made working in the crane industry and because to know Will is to love Will, all the friends he has made on his short but large life on this Earth.

Since he could tie his own shoes and through high school, Will worked next to his father as an arborist. He studied psychology at the University of Washington and he was always wanting to help those who needed it.

Will gave love, friendship and a sense of belonging to everyone who knew him. His devious smile, infectious laugh and mischievous eyes were contagious. He was the glue, the instigator and the one everyone could count on. Will knew what to say whether or not it was what you wanted to hear. He kept it real. Will lived by his father's mantra, “A man is only as good as his word”.

Will loved his life, his family and friends. He would regularly express that he got exactly what he wanted, Mollie and his girls were everything he dreamed of having.

A memorial service in celebration of Will's life will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020, at the Shire Bar and Bistro. Casual dress, cash bar. Bring stories and pictures of Will.
