Wolves Drop Sentinels at RAC in Five

Taking down Steilacoom in a non-league matchup, the Black Hills softball team put up plenty of runs in the early innings to win, 28-1, in five innings by run-rule. 

The Wolves scored all 28 of their runs in the first three innings, led by Zoey Theophilus’ absurd 3 for 3 day at the plate with three runs scored and a whopping 10 RBIs with a home run. 

Kailey Miller also mashed a homer, going 2 for 4 with three runs scored and a pair of RBIs, and Ella Goheen went 2 for 4 w/ith two runs scored and two RBIs. 

Theophilus pitched three innings, allowing one hit, giving un an unearned run, and striking out seven. Goheen pitched the rest of the way and allowed one hit, no runs, and struck out three. 

The Wolves play W.F. West in Chehalis on Monday for their second league game.
