Wolves swept by thinnest of margins

The word “sweep” doesn’t quite accurately describe the match the Black Hills volleyball team found itself on the short end of Thursday, as the Wolves lost a non-league contest to 3A Capital 28-26, 29-27, 25-19.

Ashley Harris had 21 kills to lead the Wolves (1-2) in the losing effort, and also posted two blocks. Lilly Kincaid dished out 24 assists and had four aces.

Anneliese Dale did a little bit of everything with five digs, three assists, and two aces, and Claire Johnson logged four kills.

Black Hills will return to play next week and jump into the 2A EvCo season, hosting Rochester on Tuesday.
