Wolves Take Down Highclimbers in Shelton

Posted

Limiting Shelton to single-digit scoring in each quarter, the Black Hills boys basketball team shut down the Highclimbers in a 52-24 2A Evergreen Conference win Thursday night on the road.

The Wolves had eight players score in a balanced effort, led by Simon Nysted’s 19 points — the only Black Hills player in double figures.

Nysted nearly outscored the ‘Climbers by himself, as Shelton managed just 24 points, including two in the final frame.

The Wolves get nearly a week off before a big rematch with W.F. West in Chehalis on Wednesday.
