A celebration of life for Judith Marie Harris, 83, of Chehalis, Washington, will be held at 11 a.m. Sept. 28, 2024, in Bandon, Oregon, at St. John Episcopal Church, 795 Franklin Ave. SW. The service will be followed by a fellowship at the VFW Post 3440, 55352 Bates Road, Bandon.
Judy was born Sept. 30, 1940, in Bandon to Milford and Clara Harris.
She passed away July 8, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Harry, George, Raymond and Donny; sisters, Dorothy Waldrop, Marion Patrino and Luella Sutton. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Wilson, of Bandon; and Joe Tune, of Chehalis, Washington; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Judy was a Cranberry Festival Princess in 1957 before graduating from Bandon High School in 1958. Her family and friends will miss her kind heart and wit. She will be sorely missed. To celebrate her love of food and sweets, the family would be honored if you would bring your favorite dessert to share. In lieu of flowers, donations to the National Diabetes Association are appreciated.
There will be no graveside service.
