The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the 20th Legislative District delegation, is inviting community members and business leaders to attend an in-person District 20 Legislative Update at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 16.
The event will be held at Holy Grounds Brew Temple, 200 S. King Street in Centralia.
This interactive session offers attendees an opportunity to hear directly from Sen. John Braun, R-Centralia, Rep. Ed Orcutt, R-Kalama, and Rep. Peter Abbarno, R-Chehalis, as they provide insights into the key developments, challenges and outcomes of the 2026 legislative session.
From policy decisions impacting local businesses to broader statewide initiatives, this update is designed to keep the community informed and engaged on issues that matter most, a news release from the chamber of commerce stated.
“With significant activity taking place in Olympia, staying connected to the legislative process is more important than ever,” said Cynthia Mudge, chamber director. “This forum provides a direct line of communication between elected officials and the communities they serve.”
To further support civic engagement, the chamber also offers a dedicated online resource connecting residents with local elected officials. Visit chamberway.com/local-government for more information.
