Adna High School is teaming up with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive in honor of Roman Wagner from noon to 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27.
“We are encouraging donors to sign up for an appointment by using the QR code or going to Red Cross’s website so we can add more spots and employees if there is a need,” according to a school district staffer.
Roman, 5, was diagnosed with leukemia earlier this year.
"Roman has been blessed by the gift of blood donors," organizers of the blood drive wrote. "We are very thankful for all those who have donated lifesaving blood in the past and for those who schedule to donate in his honor. Thank you for your gift."
Find the QR code on the flyer above. Donors can also register by visiting https://www.redcrossblood.org/ and entering "RomanWagner."
The blood drive will be held at the school library, 121 Adna School Road, Adna.
