The Adna softball team’s offense was clicking from the first pitch on Monday, as the Pirates scored seemingly at will in a 20-1 victory over Mossyrock.
The Pirates scored at least three runs in all five innings, including seven in the second and four in the fourth.
The numbers jump off the box score, as seven different Pirates collected multiple hits and six drove in multiple runs.
Khloe Hunt finished a perfect 5 for 5 and drove in three runs, while Karsyn Freeman and Alyssa Carroll both homered. Freeman finished the day with five RBIs, while Carroll added a double and finished with three RBIs.
Kendall Humphrey added three RBIs of her own, while Hadleigh Gerard and Teagan Baggenstos both brought home a pair.
Avery LaFontaine didn’t allow a hit in five innings, allowing only an unearned run while walking one and striking out nine.
Adna (6-3) will be back at home on Thursday to host Napavine, while Mossyrock (2-6) is off until next Monday, April 21, when it is set to host Toledo.
