Age-Progression Image of Missing Oakville Girl Oakley Carlson Released

The Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office has released an age-progression picture showing missing Oakville girl Oakley Carlson at her current age, 6 years old.

Oakley was reported missing on Dec. 6, 2021 and the last credible sighting of Oakley was 10 months prior, on Feb. 10, 2021.

“Since that time, the Grays Harbor County Sheriff's Office with the assistance of numerous law enforcement agencies and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) have continued to investigate this case and search for Oakley,” Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office Chief of Special Services Paul Logan said in a post to the sheriff’s office’s Facebook page on Wednesday.

The photo of Oakley that has been used in the search effort since she was reported missing was taken on or around Oakley’s third birthday, about two years before she was reported missing, according to the sheriff’s office.

“Due to the circumstances surrounding her disappearance, a recent photo of Oakley was difficult to obtain at the time of her disappearance,” Logan said in the Facebook post.

“Thanks to the assistance of NCMEC, we now have an age progression picture showing Oakley at about 6 years old, as she would appear now,” Logan said.
Oakley’s biological parents, Jordan Bowers and Andrew Carlson, have not cooperated with the investigation into Oakley’s disappearance or with efforts to find her.

Both were released from jail last year for child endangerment charges linked to another one of their children being exposed to drugs. Bowers was rearrested on unrelated identity theft charges while leaving incarceration and is waiting to face trial.

A reward fund for information leading to Oakley’s whereabouts had reached $80,000 as of early September, according to reporting by The Daily World.

The reward fund is managed by Light the Way Missing Persons Advocacy Project.
