Alan Lee Allison: 1954-2022

Alan Lee Allison, 67, went home to be with the Lord Feb. 4, 2022, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington. Alan was born Dec. 31, 1954. He was the first born to Leroy Allison and Juanita (Armstrong) Nelson. 

Alan worked for Cascade Hardwoods in Chehalis, Washington, for 35 years and retired in 2021. Alan married Jeannie (Smith) Allison in 1977. They were married for 19 years. They enjoyed camping and attending car shows. They remained lifelong friends. Later, Alan married Mischel (Yoder) Allison. He was blessed with four stepsons: Anthony Wilson, Chris Yoder, Michael Yoder and Deven Yoder. 

Alan's favorite pastimes were watching youth football, professional football (including his favorite team the Raiders), car shows, trips to beaches and lakes and most of all big family gatherings. Alan loved hearing good jokes and telling humorous stories. Many enjoyed spending time with Alan because of his great sense of humor. 

Alan is survived by four adult sons Anthony, Michael, Chris (Madelyn) and Deven; brothers David (Amy) Allison and Rick (Alfreda) Allison; sister Wanda Maze; half-sister Lauralee (Arne) Peterson; half-brother Leroy (Lynette) Allison; stepmother Laura Allison; step-brothers George (Deborah) Beers, Brian (Dawn) Beers and Craig (Mickie) Allison; step sister Diane (Don) Straughn; and numerous grandchildren, nephews and cousins. 

Alan was preceded in death by his parents Leroy Nelson and Juanita (Armstrong) Nelson and brothers Gerald, Earl and Jon Allison. 

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. March 19 at Jackson Prairie Assembly of God, 4224 Jackson Highway, Chehalis, Washington, with Pastor Bill Morris.
