Following the departure of Arbor Health CEO Leianne Everett, the organization named Mike Lieb as its interim CEO while it continues its search for a permanent one, according to a news release.

According to Arbor Health Public Information Officer Diane Markham, Everett announced her intentions to leave a few months ago, and is moving to be with family out of state.

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Lieb served on the board of the Lewis County Hospital District No. 1 for seven years prior to being interim CEO and has CEO experience in a variety of health care systems.

“Lieb comes to Arbor Health with more than 25 years of experience in providing organizational leadership to healthcare systems,” stated an Arbor Health news release.

A fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and member of the Medical Group Management Association, Lieb holds a master’s degree in health care administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.

Arbor Health serves east Lewis County and is the parent organization to primary care clinics in Morton, Mossyrock and Randle, the Rapid Care Clinic in Morton and the Morton Hospital. A clinic is expected to open in Packwood this year.
