Five players ended the night in double figures and the Adna High School girls basketball team stayed perfect in the C2BL with an 82-28 thrashing of Toledo on Thursday night at home.

By the time the second quarter came to a close, the Pirates (15-1, 5-0 C2BL) was up 52-12. They clipped their shooting percentages at 59 from the field and 48 from 3-point land. Kendall Humphrey canned five 3s to register 17 points and Ava Humphrey notched 14 points on four triples.

“They all shoot the ball from different load points and hitting them perfectly is a point of emphasis,” Adna head coach Chris Bannish said.

McKenna Torrey finished with a game-high 18 points, Danika Hallom added 15 and Karsyn Freeman registered 11. Bailey Chapman grabbed a team-best 12 rebounds. Adna begins a brief two-game road stint on Tuesday against Mossyrock.

Toledo (10-6, 1-3) has lost three straight and only once has its offense gotten at least 30 points on the board. Ryah Stanley led the Riverhawks with 12 points and Ellie Fallon chipped in six. The Riverhawks will host league rival Winlock on Tuesday.
