Five Riverhawks contributed either at least one goal or an assist in Wednesday’s 4-1 win over the Wildcats in the C2BL opener for both sides in Ocosta. After an 0-2 start to the season, Toledo is 3-1-1.
Oncia Chase got the scoring started in the 17th minute off a feed from Xtyn Norberg, who proceeded to double the margin in the 20th minute. Aspen Cooper and Peyton Holter scored within the first three minutes of the second half to put away Ocosta for good.
Chase, Cooper and Grace Layton all added assists. The Riverhawks will face Adna on Monday in a vital league match.
