Balanced Wolves handle Bobcats with ease

The Black Hills’ girls basketball team stayed unbeaten Wednesday, opening league play with a 59-35 win over Aberdeen.

Black Hills (4-0, 1-0 2A EvCo) jumped out to a 21-2 lead after the first quarter and led by 21 going into the break.

Four Wolves finished in double figures, led by Ava Klovas, who scored 14 and hauled in six rebounds. Kiley McMahon added 13 points, Tyler Venable tallied 11 and four assists, and Ashley Harris put up 10.

The Wolves return to the floor on Friday at Elma for a non-league clash.
