Ballots for Aug. 2 Primary to Be Mailed out in Lewis County Next Week

Lewis County’s 53,438 registered voters should start diligently checking the mail in the coming weeks.

Ballots for the upcoming Aug. 2 primary election will be mailed on Wednesday, July 13, to all active registered voters within Lewis County.

Ballots should begin arriving in mailboxes the week of July 18-22. According to the United States Postal Service, mail can take up to seven to 10 days for delivery.

If ballot packets have not been received by July 22, voters may receive a replacement ballot by any of the following methods:



• Visit to www.votewa.gov, log in and select “My Ballot” then “Online Ballot” to print a replacement ballot packet

• Call 360-740-1164, 360-740-1278 or toll free within Lewis County at 1-800-562-6130 ext. 1164 or ext. 1278

• In-person at the Lewis County Auditor’s Office, 351 NW North St., Chehalis from Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. until election day, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 2

Anyone who has moved can contact the Auditor’s Office to update their voter registration or go online at www.votewa.gov. If there is a forwarding order in place with the Postal Service, the ballot packet will be forwarded but may take more time.
