Ten W.F. West players in total got in the scoring column and the Bearcats rolled to a 67-23 victory over visiting Black Hills in a 2A Evergreen Conference matchup Friday.

It was the Bearcats’ 600th all-time win, dating back to their first season in 1976-77.

“I really liked what everyone provided, one through 13, everyone came in and contributed,” W.F. West coach Kyle Karnofski said.

Senior Drea Brumfield led all scorers with 19 points, while Lexi Roberts added 11 and Olivia Remund chipped in nine.

Karnofski gave shout outs to Brumfield for her big scoring night, point guard Kyla McCallum for setting the tempo and dishing out assists, Roberts for providing scoring and Maggie Busse for her defensive performance.

“Right from the get-go, we talked about dictating the game, and I thought we did that,” Karnofski said. “We came out in transition and got some easy buckets.”

W.F. West (14-3, 7-2 EvCo) continues league play when it heads to Shelton on Monday.

Black Hills (5-10, 3-6 EvCo) hosts Lincoln (Seattle) in a non-league contest on Monday.
