The W.F. West girls basketball team had few troubles in its 2024 debut Wednesday, downing Aberdeen 66-32.
“Pretty balanced game for us,” W.F. West coach Kyle Karnofski said. “We did some stuff a little differently, tried to work on some things, and I’m proud of them for that.”
Julia Dalan led the Bearcats (9-2, 4-0 2A EvCo) with 26 points.
Grace Simpson had her best offensive outing of the season, adding 14 for the Bearcats.
“That was big for her,” Karnofski said.
W.F. West will head the 9 miles up the freeway to Centralia on Friday for a Swamp Cup.
