The Tenino softball team got the job done at home Thursday, piling on the offense in a 23-6 three-inning win over Eatonville that featured nearly twice as many runs as outs.
The Beavers poured in 11 runs in the first inning, added six more in the second, and scored six in the third, ending it on an Addyson Sutherland 3-RBI double with one out to hit the 15-run rule.
Sophia Hussey went 3 for 3 at the plate with a walk, a double, and four RBIs. Chloe Grayless went 2 for 2 with two walks, a triple, and four runs driven in. As a team, Tenino came away with 13 hits and drew 13 walks.
Hussey had a bit tougher of a time in the circle, having to work around six errors behind her and walking five. The Cruisers struck for three in the first and three in the second, though only two of those runs were earned.
Tenino is set to go to Hoquiam next Tuesday.
