The Winlock football team ended its regular season on a high note on Friday, as the Cardinals dominated Taholah at home in a 50-8 win.
James Cusson only had six carries, but he racked up 132 yards rushing and all three of his touchdowns came in the first quarter.
The Cardinals (4-4, 3-1 Southwest 1B) took to the air in the second, as Landon Cline threw for three touchdown passes, one to Carter Svenson and two to Lincoln Ruiz.
Cline finished the day a perfect 6 for 6, throwing for 124 yards and those three touchdowns. At halftime, the Cardinals led 42-0.
Mason Ruiz also hit paydirt, as he ran it in from 15 yards out in the fourth to extend the Cardinal lead to 50-0. Ruiz led the team with 11 carries, and he ran for 55 yards.
Svenson led the team in receiving, hauling in three receptions for 87 yards, including a 46-yard touchdown.
