The Centralia Ballet Academy will hold auditions for an annual production of “The Nutcracker.”
Those 8 years old or older enrolled in any ballet class within or without the Centralia Ballet Academy are urged to sign up for an audition at www.centraliaballet.com
The deadline to sign up for a chance to audition is Thursday, Sept. 17, and space is limited.
For those who audition and are cast in the show, there will be a $75 participation fee, which includes a 2026 Nutcracker hoodie.
“The Nutcracker” production will show primarily at the Corbett Theater on the Centralia College Campus on Dec. 5 and Dec. 6.
This year, the show will also perform two shows at the Yelm High School Performing Arts Center the following week on Dec. 12 and Dec. 13.
According to an announcement, the new show will feature new sets and new costumes.

The Centralia Ballet Academy’s Kresky Avenue location features two studios, providing ample space for dancers to explore their art.
Both studios have state-of-the-art sprung sub-floors and special marley flooring, according to the academy’s website.
