The Centralia and Rochester golf teams, who share Riverside Golf Course as home territory, wrapped up their respective regular seasons with a double senior day Friday, with the Tigers coming out winners by a 216-285 scoreline.
Centralia took the top five individual spots, led by Von Wasson at 38. Tucker Weaver shot 42, Colby Christensen shot 43, Tyler Fagerness shot 45, and Jake Johnson shot 45.
For Rochester, Cooper Rodeheaver led the way at 50, Boden Grimm shot 56, Gavin Revel finished at 59, and Cash Edminster and Michael Zumwalt both carded 60s.
“With looming clouds the whole day, we were able to get it in before the skies opened up,” Rochester coach Eric Holmkvist said. A great night which turned into recognition of seniors for both teams.”
Both Rochester and Centralia will move on now to the 2A EvCo tournament on Wednesday at Tumwater Valley.
