Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce Announces ‘Micro Bytes’ Learning Sessions

The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce is offering an opportunity to participate in one-hour learning sessions about a variety of topics. 

On Tuesday, Feb. 28, the chamber will offer a class called “Canva: Quick Graphics for Busy People,” from 8 to 9 a.m. Presented by Chamber Executive Director Cynthia Mudge, attendees will learn about Canva Marketing tools. Mudge has over 30 years of experience in marketing, public relations and nonprofit management. 

On Tuesday, March 14, from noon to 1 p.m., a class called “Power for the Powerless — Everyday Negotiations” will be offered. Presented by Laura Hight, the assistant director at the Community Mediation Center, the session will address common  frustrating work situations.



There will be a class on “Stress-Free Collection Techniques for Past-Dues” on Tuesday, March 21, from 8 to 9 a.m. This class, presented by the chamber’s office and event manager Chris Demus, will present methods for easier payment collections. 

Micro Byte sessions are $10 each. Chamber members can purchase three classes for $25. For reservations, email thechamber@chamberway.com or call 360-748-8885. 

The chamber is seeking additional presenters. Presenting is an opportunity to showcase expertise while helping business owners and their staff develop new skills.
