The Centralia College softball team’s season came to an end at Delta Park in Portland on Friday, as the Trailblazers were defeated by Clackamas 4-2 in an elimination game at the NWAC Championships.
The Trailblazers went 2-2 in Portland as the No. 14 seed. They upset No. 3 Southwestern Oregon 5-3 in the first round before falling to No. 6 Everett 11-10 in eight innings in the second round.
Gracie Schofield and Jimena Luis were excellent offensively, as they both posted a home run and two doubles, and Chase White also hit a pair of doubles against Everett.
In the elimination bracket, they blew past No. 12 Chemeketa 10-1 before falling to No. 9 Clackamas.
White homered in the win, and Natalie Loose and Graci Bonney-Spradlin each drove in a pair of runs.
The Trailblazers finish their season 15-30.
