Eight vehicles seized and retained by the Centralia Police Department and Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team (JNET) are due to go to auction, if approved by the city council at its Tuesday regular meeting.

According to materials in the council’s Dec. 14 agenda, the police department retained possession of vehicles and evidence seized from felony cases that had been adjudicated. Additionally, the city is also in possession of vehicles seized during JNET operations.
