The Centralia Downtown Association (CDA) has selected MacKenzie McGee to serve as its new executive director.

McGee had already been serving as the CDA’s interim director following former Executive Director Teri Zambon’s departure.

“I am beyond thrilled to step into the executive director position for the CDA. I am passionate about working to help our community flourish. The CDA has so many great plans for the near future and I can’t wait to help bring them to fruition. I am truly honored for the opportunity to work in my hometown,” said McGee in a news release.

In addition to welcoming McGee on as the new executive director, the CDA also recently elected several new board members and officers. Minister of the Downtown Bethel Church Josh Gering will serve a three-year term on the board while Jan Nontell will be the new CDA vice president, Nina Skol will serve as the new CDA treasurer and secretary while Jennifer Krueger will be the new past-president.

The CDA is a member of Main Street America, a group of member organizations that is dedicated to preserving historic downtown districts.
