Centralia's football game at Elma Friday has now been switched to a home game against Prairie, Tigers football coach Jeremy Thibault said Wednesday.
Elma was forced to cancel the game due to COVID protocols, Thibault said.
Friday's matchup is set for 7 p.m. at Tiger Stadium and means the Tigers will face a Class 3A opponent for the second-straight week to open the season.
Centralia (0-1) is coming off a 35-6 loss to Evergreen (Vancouver) in its season opener last Friday at home. Prairie is also from the Vancouver area and the Falcons defeated Washougal 44-6 last week.
