Centralia High School Senior Announced as PNW Chamber Orchestra’s Featured Soloist

The Pacific Northwest Chamber Orchestra has announced the featured soloist who will perform during a free concert at Centralia College June 12. 

Olivia Norris is the daughter of Julie and Brian Norris, of Centralia. She has two sisters and a brother. 

Olivia is a senior at Centralia High School and has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA. She plans to attend Whitworth University in pursuit of a career in physical therapy. In addition to studying the violin, she also enjoys playing tennis, hiking and cooking. 



She has chosen the Accolay Violin Concerto as her performance piece. In addition to her solo, the concert will feature Dvorak’s Slavonic Dances, Smetana’s The Moldau and movie themes from “Victory at Sea” and “Back to the Future.”

The free concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. June 12 at Corbet Theater within Washington Hall at Centralia College. Tickets are not required.
