Centralia man injured in crash on U.S. Highway 12 near Salkum

A 51-year-old Centralia man was taken to Providence Centralia Hospital for treatment Friday after a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 12 between Ethel and Salkum, according to the Washington State Patrol. 

Todd F. Ritter was traveling west on U.S. Highway 12 at about 11:45 p.m. Friday when his 1996 Dodge Ram left the roadway to the right shoulder, struck a ditch, flipped and landed on its side, according to the state patrol. The vehicle was totaled. 

The state patrol listed the cause of the crash as wheels off the roadway and reported it is unknown whether drugs or alcohol played a factor. 



Ritter was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the state patrol.
