Centralia Police Investigating Early Morning Armed Robbery

The Centralia Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a business in the 1000 block of South Gold Street just before 1:10 a.m. on Wednesday. 

Two male subjects reportedly entered the business, pointed a gun at a worker and fired one round, according to the Centralia Police Department. 

The suspects then allegedly stole the security DVR camera recording box, cash, the victim’s cellphone and other items before stealing the victim’s rental vehicle and fleeing the scene. 

Officers later recovered the victim’s vehicle a few blocks away. 



No injuries were noted in the Centralia Police Department’s news release on the incident. 

The Centralia Police Department described the two suspects as “a Hispanic male, mid-40s, wearing Dickies-style pants, skater shoes, a dark jacket and a hat” and “a younger white male wearing a mask.” 

The masked suspect was reported to have pointed the gun and fired one round, according to the Centralia Police Department.
