Centralia tops Annie Wright for another shootout victory

Tigers add on to best start since 2010

The Centralia football team earned its fourth straight win on Friday at Tiger Stadium, topping Annie Wight 56-35 in another shootout victory.

The Tigers scored two touchdowns in the first, three in the second, and two in the third before adding a final score in the fourth.

As a team, Centralia tallied 434 total yards, including 330 yards on the ground.

Bill Volavola tallied 188 total yards and three total touchdowns (two rushing and one receiving), and Enzo Montee added 15 yards and two touchdowns on just 14 carries.

Caden Erickson ran for two touchdowns and threw one while accounting for 114 total yards.

The Tigers are now 4-0, extending their best start to a season since 2010. 

That season, the Tigers started 5-0. The 2026 squad will look to match that mark next Friday, Oct. 2, when it travels to Tenino.
