The City of Centralia Public Works Department and contractor Rognlin’s Inc. will close West Reynolds Avenue from Johnson Road to Harrison Avenue for paving operations at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, to reopen the following day at 8 a.m.
The move was originally scheduled for the week of May 9, and the new road closure timeline should only last the night of May 17-18, depending on weather conditions.
A detour on Harrison Avenue and Johnson Road will be available to travelers.
The paving work is part of a project that also saw the installation of a new sidewalk, curb, gutter, ADA-compliant ramps, storm drainage, street lighting, striping and more on West Reynolds Avenue that began in February.
