The Chehalis Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects accused of trying to pull an ATM out of the ground with a stolen pickup earlier this month.

The suspects reportedly stole a Ford F-350 pickup from Main Street in Centralia then drove to a credit union in the 2000 block of Northeast Kresky Avenue, where they allegedly attempted to use the stolen pickup to pull the ATM out of the ground, according to the Chehalis Police Department.

Chehalis police officers were dispatched to the area at approximately 4:25 a.m. on July 1.

The suspects left the area before the police arrived, leaving the stolen pickup a short distance away.

The Chehalis Police Department asks anyone with information on the two suspects to contact Detective Sgt. Ayers at 360-748-8605, call the Chehalis Police Department’s non-emergency dispatch line at 360-740-1105 or email chehalispd@ci.chehalis.wa.us.
