A 66-year-old Chehalis woman was transported to Providence Centralia Hospital after another driver failed to yield and struck her vehicle at Exit 76 on northbound Interstate 5 in Chehalis on Sunday.
The woman was reportedly driving a silver 2007 Toyota Corolla westbound on Southwest Parkland Drive in Chehalis when a red 2015 Ram 2500, driven by a 39-year-old Napavine woman, traveling northbound on I-5 at Exit 76 failed to yield right of way and truck the Corolla, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Troopers responded to the crash at approximately 5:20 p.m. on July 14.
The Chehalis woman was the only occupant of the Corolla. Neither the driver of the Ram or the vehicle’s 14-year-old passenger were injured.
The Corolla was totaled and had to be towed from the scene.
