Voting for the second round of the international Christian singing competition “You, God’s Music” recently opened.
Jessica Parrent, a local singer from Chehalis, is competing.
For her first round, Parrent sang “Counting My Blessings” by Seph Schlueter and played guitar, keyboard and drums for her video. Her first round audition can be found at https://shorturl.at/Ocjpv.

In the first round, Parrent ranked 66th out of the 345 contestants, making it into the top half and advancing on to the second round.
Round 2 is entirely based on public votes, and in the semifinals and finals, the judge’s score counts.
Parrent is currently in 25th place with 371 votes. She has to stay in the top 25 to make it into the semifinals.
Voting closes June 1.
