ChehalisFest to Bring Summer Fun to Downtown on July 30

ChehalisFest will be held on July 30. The annual festival will include fun for all ages in downtown Chehalis.

Attendees can join the family scavenger hunt to visit different locations of the festival. At each location, participants will receive an entry into a drawing for $300 in local gift cards.

The day will kick off with the annual blueberry pancake breakfast at the Lewis County Historical Museum from 8 to 11 a.m.

A Kids Zone will be held near the intersection of Prindle Street and Chehalis Avenue. Over 70 vendors will be present for the event.



Garbe’s is sponsoring the annual ChehalisFest Car Show. Registration for the car show will begin at 7 a.m. and the show will begin at 9 a.m., with awards to be announced at 3 p.m. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Chehalis and the Veterans Memorial Museum.

Live music will be held near the car show from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. before moving inside Garbe’s from 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Cool beverages will be served at Garbe’s beer garden from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Prindle Street.

Downtown businesses will be hosting special sales, including a 100th anniversary celebration at Bartels. While downtown, attendees can also take pictures at the Summer Selfie Row, with backdrops on Boistfort Street.
