The Huntting’s Pumpkin Patch and Haunted Forest — located at 600 Cinebar Road in Cinebar — will be hosting airsoft games in its forest this Saturday, Feb. 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. according to a post on the farm’s Facebook page.
A $20 entrance fee is required and participants must supply their own airsoft guns, biodegradable BBs, eye protection, food and water. Airsoft guns allowed include automatic electric gun, high pressure air or spring. Biodegradable BBs must be between 0.2 and 0.3 grams.
General rules for the airsoft games dictate all airsoft guns must shoot at or under 400 feet per second and use the phrase “bang bang” if an opponent is within 5 yards. Additionally, smoke and airsoft frag grenades will be allowed unless a burn ban is in effect.
Those 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult to participate.
Huntting’s Pumpkin Patch is also currently looking for sponsors for its 2024 corn maze, which will open on the last Friday of September for the Halloween season.
There are three sponsorship levels available including:
• Silver, $300, which gets a sponsor a space for a 18-inch-by-24-inch or 24-inch-by-36-inch yard sign or banner, supplied by the business, at the corn maze.
• Gold, $500, which gets a sponsor its name and logo located at one of the corn maze’s check points.
• Platinum, $700, which gets a sponsor a space for a 18-inch-by-24-inch or 24-inch-by-36-inch yard sign or banner, supplied by the business, at the corn maze along with its name and logo located at one of the corn maze’s check points.
All levels of sponsorship will get mentioned on Huntting’s Pumpkin Patch’s Facebook page as well. Only 20 spaces are available for gold and platinum level sponsors. According to a Facebook post, Huntting’s Pumpkin Patch and Haunted Forest had approximately 15,000 visitors and over 150,000 Facebook page views in 2023.
