Class of 2024: Centralia High School’s top 10 graduates

Centralia High School and W.F. West High School joined together last month to honor and recognize the top 10 academic seniors from each school for the class of 2024.

Centralia High School ranks its graduating seniors using the top 10 index criteria, which includes overall grade point average (GPA), assessment scores, challenging course work and participation in activities.

Centralia High School’s graduation ceremony is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday at Tiger Stadium in Centralia.

Here's where Centralia's top graduates plan to go from here.

• Joshua Demaris plans to attend Washington State University in Vancouver where he will pursue a degree in biology.

• Olivia Hedgers plans to attend Saint Martin’s University to obtain her bachelor’s degree in secondary education and eventually her master’s degree.

• Brady Sprague plans to go to Big Bend Community College to play baseball and get a bachelor’s degree in applied management.

• Chihiro Bringman plans to attend Stonehill College in Boston, Massachusetts, on a swimming scholarship to continue her athletic and collegiate studies.



• Johnathan Kaech plans to pursue a career in a skilled trade as an electrician.

• Isabelle Gruginski plans on attend Washington State University in Vancouver to pursue a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering.

• Kiersten Moxness plans to attend Western Washington University to pursue a bachelor’s of science degree in biochemistry.

• Summer Holmes plans to attend Washington State University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in either English or education.

• Tig Hedgers plans to continue his education by attending Washington State University where he will obtain his degree in forest ecology and management.

• Ruth Gonzalez plans to attend Gonzaga University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a certification in secondary education.
