Connor Coleman impressed on the mound and at the plate on Tuesday, throwing a five-inning no-hitter and hitting a home run in W.F. West’s 21-2 blowout victory over Aberdeen.

Coleman struck out seven and walked three in the five inning no-no, and both of Aberdeen’s runs were unearned. He also went 2 for 2 with his home run and drove in three runs.

W.F. West gave him plenty of run support early, scoring five in the first and one in the second before adding six in the third and nine in the fourth.

Wyatt Hoffman tallied five hits, drove in two runs, and scored four times, Alex Stafford drilled a triple, a double, and drove in a pair, and Gage Wiens added a triple and two RBIs as part of his three-hit day.

Luke McMillan also drove in two runs, and seven other Bearcats added an RBI in the win.

W.F. West (12-1, 7-0 2A EvCo) has now won 12 games in a row since losing its opener to Camas on March 14.

The Bearcats will look to make it 13 straight on Wednesday, when they face Aberdeen again. That matchup will be on the road.
