Comedy night: Three comedians to be featured at The Juice Box in Centralia Saturday

Posted

Comedy night at The Juice Box in downtown Centralia is scheduled for this Saturday, Dec. 30, beginning at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.

The event, organized by HUB Comedy, will feature the comedic stylings of Jaci Terjeson, Scott Losse and Derek Sheen.

Terjeson is a stand-up comedian and “that woman who won’t stop making small talk with you at the coffee shop,” HUB Comedy stated on its website. Terjeson recently finished as a finalist in the 2023 Seattle International Comedy Competition.

Loose won the 2013 Northwest Comedy Competition and was a semi-finalist in the 2014 Seattle International Comedy Competition. Since 2014, he’s appeared on Laughs on Fox and released a stand-up album titled Popular Donuts in 2017, which is available on Spotify and Apple Music.

“He also has 180 CDs in the back of his car if you’re interested,” the website stated. “You can have some! Use them in your garden to scare birds away.”

The event’s headliner, Sheen, is “a cuddly mess of insecurities and a gifted, one-of-a-kind storyteller,” and his ability to find humor within the darkness of the human condition “has made him a cult favorite of comedy nerds around the globe,” according to the website.

Sheen has toured with stand-up legends including Brian Posehn, Janeane Garofalo and Patton Oswalt, and has released four stand-up albums, which are all available on Spotify and Apple Music.

General admission tickets are $20. Tickets can only be purchased online at https://bit.ly/4aMMBnI.
