Lewis County Parkinson’s Disease Support Group

Chamber of Commerce Forum: Lewis County Rural Housing Update
April 13 at O’Blarney’s at the Gibson House, 221 N. Tower Ave., Centralia; 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Chamber forum will discuss rural housing. The event will open its doors at 11:30 a.m. with the forum beginning at noon and lasting approximately one hour. The event is open to the public with a $5 beverage and sitting fee. The buffet lunch costs $17. Space is limited. Those who want lunch should arrive early.
Swing Dancing
April 13 at The Juice Box, 216 S. Tower Ave., Centralia; 6 to 9 p.m.
Basic beginners class will be from 6:30 to 7 p.m. The entry fee is $7. Children under 12 can dance for free.

Super Fun Run (Walk and Roll)

This event is put on by Kiddin’ Around and the Centralia Prevention Coalition and seeks to raise money for Centralia School Libraries. Attendees are asked to dress up as their favorite book character and bring their whole family. The event is free to register for and includes prizes for most money raised. Bigfoot - Real or Hoax?

Vince Ynzunza and Tyler Bounds will present on the Bigfoot hoax by Rant Mullens in the 1920s near Mt. St. Helens and his subsequent rivalry with hoaxer Ray Wallace. A pop-up museum display and photo-ops will be on site during this event. All proceeds benefit the Lewis County Historical Museum. Tickets are $20.

Dinner and Bingo

The cost to attend is $25 and includes a ham and scalloped potatoes dinner with a drink and desert. Attendees will also be given two bingo card packs. There will be raffles and 50/50 drawings. Dinner is at 4 p.m. and bingo begins at 6 p.m.

A Gala For The Arts

The reception will begin at 6 p.m. and will include festive drinks and hors d’oeuvres. The performance is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. All profits will be donated to the Corbet Theatre enhancements fund. Spring Vendor Blender by Gemini Events
April 15 and 16 at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds, 1909 Gold St., Centralia; 10 a.m.
Visitors can shop from over 100 vendors in the Grandstand Building of the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds. There will be food trucks and free entertainment for children from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days. The event will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 15 and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 16. Admission is $2 per person and parking is free. Children 17 and under can enter for free.
Smoke and Mirrors
April 16 and 23 at The Juice Box, 216 S. Tower Ave., Centralia; 4 p.m.
This event includes a three course dinner and murder mystery theater. The dinner is catered by Occasions DB. The murder mystery is written and directed by Twin Cities Rotary members. Cost of attendance is $40 per person.
