Pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, applesauce, juice, coffee and hot chocolate will be served at this fundraiser for Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital. Winlock-Vader Food Bank Drive n’ Drop
Dec. 4 at the corner of Front and Fir streets in Winlock and the Vader Assembly of God Church at 302 Sixth St., Vader; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Adna Store Celebration
Dec. 4 at the Adna Grocery Store; 12 to 3 p.m.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will fly in by helicopter, weather-permitting, and land by the coffee shop across from the Adna store. Santa is then expected to mill about the neighborhood before he and Mrs. Claus enter the store for photo opportunities and free gifts.
Packwood Christmas Celebrations
Dec. 4 at the Packwood Fire Department, 12953 U.S. Highway 12, Packwood; 12 to 7 p.m.
From noon to 3 p.m., cruise through the park on Holiday Lane to the North Pole to see Santa and his elves at work in “Santa’s Toy Shop.” Then, the Packwood Fire Department will hold its annual free spaghetti dinner followed by pinatas and fun before the tree lighting ceremony from 4 to 6 p.m. Caroling will begin at the Packwood Community Hall at 6:30 p.m.
Adna Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
Dec. 4 at Back Memorial Park; 3 to 6 p.m.
Adna Elementary School students will be caroling and a 25-foot Christmas tree will be lit up at this open community event. It is set to include hot drinks and possibly hay rides.
