Coroner identifies Mossyrock man who died in I-5 motorcycle crash

Authorities have identified the Mossyrock man who died Sunday after his motorcycle hit a cable barrier along Interstate 5 south near Woodland.

The Cowlitz County coroner reports the man is Bradley J. Jespersen, 60.

His name wasn't immediately released pending notification of next of kin. 

Washington State Patrol reports he lost control of his BMW K1200 motorcycle around 1:25 p.m. at Exit 22, where Walmart and Popeyes are located.



The coroner reports staff arrived at the scene closer to 2 p.m.

The office did not release the cause or manner of death and reported in the press release that no other information would be released. 

Jespersen died at the scene, according to a Washington State Patrol press memo. 

The cause of the accident is unknown, the memo continues, but troopers have ruled out that drugs or alcohol were involved.
