Cowboys and Cowgirls Saddle Up at Fair Rodeo

Four champions were crowned during the rodeo at the 2021 Southwest Washington Fair on Saturday night in the grandstand arena.

Levi Walters was the lone finisher in the bareback bronc riding competition and claimed a $1,500 purse for his efforts. Wyatt Grant was also a lone finisher, this one in the saddle bronc riding, earning a $1,500 purse.

In the ranch bronc riding, Corey Perryman placed first, Thomas Perryman was second and Mitch Simonis came in third as the three split a $1,500 purse.



In breakaway roping, Amelia Kinney came out on top for a first-place finish, Cruise Joblonski finished second and Savannah Massingham claimed third place. The trio split a $750 purse.

In the bull riding, no rider stayed on their bull for the required eight seconds to claim the $2,500 purse. Wild horse race results were not available by The Chronicle’s deadline.

The rodeo was stocked by Shamrock Rodeo Company based in Onalaska.
